The water is so amazing too. The waves barely even exist and the water is 75-80 degrees always. It makes it easy to play with the kids in the water without getting cold or getting smacked by waves. By the time the typically large ocean waves meet up with the Coral Reef which extends miles from shore, the same waves are tiny or non-existent when they reach Turtle Beach. If you’re a fan of scuba or snorkeling you’ll love the Coral Reef because of the amazing sea life you can observe relatively close to shore. There are even countless options for professional diving tours in the Tulum area. The next time I’m back in this area, I will definitely be scuba diving.

I certainly hope that time flies between then and now. The entirety of the Yucatan is so beautiful. Cancun and Playa del Carmen have so much to offer too. There are hundreds, if not thousands of Playa del Carmen hotels and other Yucatan Peninsula hotels that you’ll love if you like to be where all the people are. Tulum Mexico hotels will also give you luxury but the prices are usually more affordable and the service more personable. I personally recommend Tulum Mexico as a vacation destination for anyone.
